Awards & Honors

LEED-Platinum certification under the U.S. Green Building Council's (USGBC) LEED for Homes program. A LEED rating verifies environmental design, construction, and performance through a third-party certification process. A LEED-Platinum rating is the most prestigious designation under the LEED Rating System, denoting the most green projects in the world. When The Evergreen achieved its LEED certification in May 2010, it was only one of 940 LEED-Platinum homes in the US, and one of 59 LEED-Platinum homes in Washington State. The Evergreen was also the first LEED certified home in Seabrook, The City of Pacific Beach, and Grays Harbor County.
ENERGY STAR certification under the Northwest ENERGY STAR program, our local division of the federal EPA program. Northwest ENERGY STAR homes are built to meet the energy efficient guidelines set forth by the Environmental Protection Agency, resulting in higher quality homes that are not only more comfortable, but more environmentally responsible as well.
